HOW TO FIND US<\/h2>\n

Beware: Some navigation systems are unable to find the right way from Leogang to our Bergdorf! <\/strong><\/p>\n

Please note: <\/strong>We have kept the location of the PRIESTEREGG pretty secret which makes it difficult for some navigation systems to find it. Please do not rely on your system once you reach Leogang. It may lead you the wrong route up the mountain.<\/p>\n

Enter \u201cB\u00e4ckerei Ritter\u201c, Leogang 82, A-5771 Leogang into your navigation system. Leave the main road at the \u201cB\u00e4ckerei Ritter\u201c (bakery) and follow the green signs to \u201cBergdorf Priesteregg\u201d or \u201cHuwi\u2019s Alm\u201d. Keep left and after the railway underpass turn left again and cross a small bridge. From there, follow the scenic mountain road for two kilometres to the very end. Continue by following the signs.<\/p>\n

BY CAR<\/h2>\n

Route 1: to Leogang via Tyrol
\n<\/strong>Rosenheim \u2013exit at Oberaudorf (GER) – Walchsee – K\u00f6ssen – Waidring – St. Ullrich – Hochfilzen – Leogang. Drive past the Leogang cable car (Asitzbahn) station. On the right, you\u2019ll see the village church and a bank. After a few metres, turn left at the \u201eB\u00e4ckerei Ritter\u201c. From here, follow the route as described above.<\/p>\n

Route 2: Motorway M\u00fcnchen – Salzburg (A8)
\n<\/strong>A8 motorway direction to Rosenheim (GER) \u2013exit at Siegsdorf – Lofer \u2013 Saalfelden. At the roundabout in Saalfelden, go right towards Leogang. After about eight kilometres, you reach Leogang. At the village entry, turn right at the \u201cB\u00e4ckerei Ritter\u201d. From here, follow the route as described above.<\/p>\n

HUWI’s advice for chalet guests in winter
\n<\/strong>The PRIESTEREGG is situated on a high plateau at an altitude of 1,100 metres. Winters are harsh here, so please only travel with snow tyres and deposit snow chains in your boot. In case you cannot get up the mountain road, simply park your car at the railway underpass car park and ring our emergency number. It will only take a few minutes for our shuttle bus to come down and take you to the warm and cosy Bergdorf.<\/p>\n

BY RAIL<\/h2>\n

We are happy to pick you up from the railway stations in Leogang or Saalfelden. For easy and fast booking, please use the following website. For our guests from Germany, please note that the Austrian and German Railways sometimes charge different prices for the same ticket. It\u2019s certainly worth comparing both railway sites.<\/p>\n

BY PLANE<\/h2>\n

Getting to Leogang by plane is easy as there are three international airports nearby: Munich (2.5 hrs\/190 km), Salzburg (1 hr\/70 km) and Innsbruck (2 hrs \/ 130 km).<\/p>\n
