Good to know

Our wellness area, the PRIESTEREGG BAD, is a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy time by yourself, with your partner or with your family. Welcome to our beautiful world of rest and relaxation!
We have put together some interesting facts for our guests. No matter if you just want to visit our rest area, enjoy the pinewood sauna or have a swim, we want to make sure you will make the most of your stay at the PRIESTEREGG BAD TOGETHER.

WATER
Himmelbecken. At 25m long, 5m wide and 1,37m deep, our infinity pool is the gem of our wellness area and perfect for a swim. The water is heated at 34°C throughout the year. The necessary power is 100 percent sustainable and is generated by our energy centre, which has been nominated for the Energy Globe.

Kaminbecken. This 1.20m-deep indoor pool with fireplace (8m x 4m, 34°C) is connected to the infinity pool. Enjoy the soothing benefits of the water in any weather or treat yourself with one of our prizewinning haki®-Flow treatments.

HEAT
Swiss Pine Sauna. 75°C and soothing pinewood are a perfect combination to put your mind at rest. The magnificent view of the infinity pool with the Leogang mountains in the background make your sauna experience an unforgettable one.

Our original Lapland smoke sauna brings the traditional Finnish sauna to the Pinzgau. It takes several hours to heat up and reaches a temperature of 75-80°C. The smoky aroma will relax our body and mind.
We recommend using the sauna without swimming clothes. Your skin will thank you for it. There are plenty of big towels in the wellness are to wrap up in. Outside the saunas we ask you to wear swimwear or a bathrobe.

REST
Gottfried Kaschnig Salon. Our rest area is a place of peace and quiet and offers the perfect surroundings for daydreaming. Please be quiet and use this area to relax.

Infinity terrace. You will find plenty of daybeds and deckchairs on our sun-protected terrace. If you want to enjoy the warmth of the sun, our deckchairs can be easily rolled out of the shade. There are no parasols, however, the big canopy will provide you with cooling shade.

Kaminplatzl. You will find more armchairs and beanbags to sit around and relax in the area around the fireplace. Here you can forget the time or have meaningful conversations with your partner or friends.

PLEASURE
Ferdl-Zirbenstube. Drinking plenty of fluid is an important part of your wellness holiday. You will find many different kinds of tea, coffee, fresh water and homemade apple juice in the Ferdl-Zirbenstube. In case you feel peckish, you can order a savoury snack from the SPA reception after 2pm or grab some nutritious nibbles from our nut and fruit bar.
We kindly ask you to have your snacks in the Ferdl-Zirbenstube or the Kaminplatzl. The rest area is for relaxing, but not for snacking. Thanks for not having your relaxing snack inside the wellness area.

TREATMENTS
This is a special time; it is your time! Start gently and arrive at the Kaminplatzl about 10 minutes before your treatment starts. If you are late, you will not get the benefits of the full treatment which would be a shame. We keep your booking entirely for you. In case you cannot make it, you can cancel your appointment at no cost up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel later, we regret that we will have to charge you for the treatment.

DAY SPA
You can book the Day Spa at the PRIESTEREGG BAD in combination with one treatment. Please contact our SPA reception at 0043 6583 82550-300 to book you appointment. The Day Spa includes one treatment of your choice, a bathrobe, sauna and bath towels as well as the full use of the 3.000 m² wellness area. You can safely store your valuables in our lockers.

CHILDREN
Children of all ages are welcome at the PRIESTEREGG BAD. However, we kindly ask you to look after your little ones and show consideration for the other guests in the wellness area.
Children love the huge infinity pool as with 25 metres it has the perfect length to train for swimming competitions or qualifications. But no matter how tempting, please make sure your children do not jump into the water from the pool edge.
If your children are small and do not yet know how to swim, please make sure you bring some swimming aids as the depth of 1.37m is often still too deep for children who go to elementary school.
Once your little ones get bored of the wellness are and become agitated, please make sure you give them a break. Why not take them outside to enjoy the beautiful Pinzgau or spend some quality time with them in your Chalet.

DOGS
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed inside the PRIESTEREGG BAD. However, as they should not miss out on their wellness treat, you can take them to our magic meadow “Zwischbergen” which is a few minutes from the Bergdorf. Here they have enough space to run around and even relax at our beautiful wellness pond.

SMOKERS
Right next to the infinity pool, you will find our cigar and cognac lounge. Smokers can withdraw here and be undisturbed. For a special treat, try a glass of French cognac stored in an oak barrel or have one of our Davidoff cigars that are kept in the humidor.

VALUABLES
It is recommended to keep your valuables in your chalet or villa or store them in your personal locker at the PRIESTEREGG BAD. Please look after your valuables as we cannot be held liable in case of loss.

OPENING HOURS AND USE
The PRIESTEREGG BAD is open daily from 7am to 10pm. Our guests are free make use of the entire wellness area on the day of arrival (before moving into their Chalet) and the day of departure (after checkout). This extends your holiday and makes the transition between the two worlds more smoothly.
